PHILADELPHIA – Senator Joe Picozzi (R-5) announced today that his district office will host a month-long food drive throughout September in recognition of Hunger Action Month, with all donated items benefiting Feast of Justice.
Hunger Action Month is a nationwide effort held each September to raise awareness about food insecurity and encourage communities to take action to help their neighbors facing hunger.
Feast of Justice is a volunteer-driven food pantry and resource organization serving Northeast Philadelphia. Throughout its Community Choice Cupboard and other programs, its organization provides food, essential items and additional resources for local individuals and families in need.
“I recently had the opportunity to visit Feast of Justice and speak with Pastor Neale about the incredible work they do every day”, said Picozzi. “They have become an invaluable resource for so many of our neighbors, and I’m proud to support their work through this food drive. I hope everyone who is able will stop by our office this September and help us give back”.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-4pm
